花や人物といった、作者にとって身近な生物を主なモチーフにし、半抽象画を描く。キャンバスに描いていく過程では、具体的な描写から徐々に抽象的な形態へと再構築させ、様々なイメージの形の連鎖や軽やかな色のリズムを生み出している。人物ヌードにおいてはエロティシズムを取り払い、命の存在、感情、儚さに潜むエネルギーに着目した視点で描く。
筆やペインティングナイフで描き重ねていくだけでなく、一度描写したものを削りとり、あるいは布で拭き取るなどを繰り返し、キャンバスと向き合った時間の痕跡を残すように、重層的で複雑なマティエールの絵画を作り上げている。

Using such living things familiar to me as flowers and humans as a motif, I paint semi-abstract works. In the process of painting on canvas, I create a chain of shapes of various images and a light rhythm of colors by gradually reconstructing the motif from concrete depictions to abstract forms. In my human nudes, I remove eroticism and paint them from the perspective focusing on the energy latent in the existence of life, emotions, and ephemerality.

I not only paint over and over with brushes and painting knives, but also repeatedly scrape the depicted image or wipe it off with a cloth, creating paintings with multilayered and complex matière so that they keep traces of the time I spent facing the canvas.
