幼少期にプランクトンの図鑑を見た時、透明な水の中にはたくさんの生きものがいるということに大きな衝撃を受けました。 
自分の目では見ることが出来ない生きもの、その生きものの細胞、その細胞を構成する分子、、。
そんな果てしなく続くような“見えない世界”に想いを馳せ、探検するように絵を描いています。
 

When I saw an illustrated book of plankton in my childhood, I was greatly shocked to realize that there are many living things in the clear water.

Living things that I cannot see with my own eyes, their cells, and the molecules composing those cells and so on—I imagine this seemingly endless "invisible world,” painting as if I explored.
