幼少期よりものづくり（特にミニチュア）に魅かれ、プラスチックモデル・鉄道模型・航空機模型・鉄道を主としたジオラマ制作に取り組む。小学生の頃にはすでに情景制作にのめり込む傍ら、油絵・水彩画・鉛筆画も趣味の領域内で嗜むようになる。
一方中学・高校とバレーボール部に属しながらも鉄道研究部にも籍を置いた。高校時代に美術大学を目指して代ゼミのデッサン科に入った際に自身が井の中の蛙である事に気づき、以来美術の世界からは一切離れた生活を送っていた。しかし4０歳を過ぎ鉄道模型雑誌への作品掲載をきっかけに一気に鉄道模型・ジオラマ制作中心の生活を送るようになる。

現在は鉄道模型に属するリアルな造形を追求し車両と情景の制作活動を続けている。

Since my childhood, I have been fascinated with crafting (especially miniatures) and engaged in creating plastic models, model railroads, model aircraft, and dioramas mainly of railroads. While already immersed in creating scenes of the dioramas as an elementary school student, I began to enjoy oil paintings, watercolors, and pencil drawings as hobbies. On the other hand, in junior high and high school, I belonged to the volleyball club and was also a member of the railroad research club. When I entered a preparatory sketch course at Yozemi during high school with the aim of entering an art university, I realized that I was a “frog in a well,” and since then, I had been living a life completely away from the world of art. However, after turning 40 and having my work featured in a model railroad magazine, I at once began to lead a life centered on creation of model railroads and dioramas. Currently, I pursue the realistic sculpting that belongs to the realm of railroad modeling, continuing to create trains and scenes.
